November 2011

The 31st October 2011 marked the end of an era with the early retirement of “Young Les Smith”.
With a career spanning almost 40 years in steel and wire, the day finally came for Les to hang up his “micrometer”.
Les plans to spend a month or two with family in Spain before returning to a major “gardening” (Golf course) project in the new year!
His great sense of humour and vast knowledge of steel is already being missed in the office.
Good luck and best wishes Les from all your colleagues and friends at Barnfather Wire and throughout the trade!

Following the retirement of Les Smith Sue Panter has taken on further commercial responsibilities with the management of many of our Key accounts.
Sue has also coordinated our new CRM system that is helping us to track and monitor our customers wire requirements more closely so that we can further enhance our service.

We would also like to welcome a new addition to the sales team with the appointment of Tim Dalley.
With a background in the fabrication of industrial heaters this will mean an exciting new challenge and change of direction for Tim.
Following an initial “In a the deep end settling in period” Tim will be involved in the management and development of new and existing sales.
Tim can be contacted by email at the following address tim@barnfatherwire.co.uk or on 0121 526 2880.
